How to make zam zam biryani

Zam zam biryani




The zam zam biryani is a mixture of chicken, mutton and mix vegetables. It has its own unique taste and its own looks. The aroma is also different in compared to the others. Wanna try something new then this is the recipe for you. Share and enjoy.

Cooking tip: While boiling the rice, you can add a few drops of lemon (juice) to it, this will keep each grain of rice separately and it wont stick together.

Ingredients

1 kg chicken (12 pieces)

750 grams of rice (boiled)

1/2 kg mutton

1 tbsp ginger garlic  paste

1 tbsp green chilli (grounded)

1 tsp salt (to taste)

15 cashews (they should be fried)

1 cup onions (browned)

1 cup french fries

1 cup mix vegetables

2 to 3 boiled eggs

1 cup yogurt

1  tbsp whole spices (garam masala)

fenugreek leaves

coriander leaves (for topping at the end)

yellow  food colouring

kewra jal (screw pine water)


Instructions


First heat 1/2 cup of oil and then add 1 tablespoon of garam masala (whole spices) and fry well.

Then add fenugreek leaves, chicken, green chilli paste, yogurt and salt. Cover and cook until the chicken is done.

After that add in mix vegetables and brown onions and keep aside.

Then boil the mutton with ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste and salt and cook until it becomes tender.

Then add it together to the chicken mixture and cook for about 5 minutes.

After that take a large pan and put or spread 1/4 cup oil, one layer on rice, cooked chicken and mutton mixture.

Sprinkle with french fries, coriander and boiled egg, Cover with the remaining rice.

Then sprinkle kewra jal and yellow food colouring on top

Let it simmer for about 20 minutes.

Finally serve and enjoy.
