How to make fried chicken biryani

Fried chicken biryani




The fried chicken biryani is flavoured chicken rice cooked with mild Indian spices. It is mildly spiced and is not a heavy dinner. It is best to serve it with a good onion raita or a simple light salad There are so many ways in which the fried chicken biryani is made. Finally share and enjoy.

Cooking tip: To stop the the meat or chicken from sticking on the grill or barbecue stick , you can rub oil on the stick you are using so the meat or chicken wont stick. 


Ingredients


1 kg chicken (the number of chicken pieces depends on you)

1 bunch of mint leaves (chopped)

3 tomatoes (sliced)

onions (chopped)

1 tbsp chilli powder (green chilli and red chilli both)

3 whole garam masala (each)

1 tbsp garam masala (this is not whole more like powder)

1/4 tsp turmeric

1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

1 bunch coriander (chopped and powder as well)

2 cups of rice (basmati)

1/2 gram of saffron (optional)

2 tbsp oil

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tbsp yogurt

salt (to taste)

Instructions


First take a bowl and then add the chicken pieces, ginger garlic paste, chilly powder, turmeric, garam masala powder, salt and mix well together and keep it aside for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, deep fry the mixture until its is 70% cooked.

Then take a pan and heat oil in it and add whole garam masala, chopped onions (fry until colour becomes golden), turmeric, tomatoes (cook until they become soft), chilli powder, coriander, green chilli powder, yogurt, coriander powder, mint leaves (chopped) and salt.

Then in the pan add the fried chicken, lemon juice, garam masala powder and add basmati rice (soaked in water for 30 minutes and 70% cooked as well). Then add fried onions, saffron (optional).

After that cover and cook on high flame for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then cook it again on low flame or heat for approximately 15 minutes.

Finally share and enjoy.
