How to make thandai

Thandai


The thandai is like a caffe latte (coffee), it is typically like coffee but with extra toppings which are very delicious. It's taste and aroma will make you drink it so you can become refreshed and delighted. Share and enjoy.

Ingredients


20 almonds

5 peppercorns

2 tsp sunflower seeds

1 cup water

1 cup milk 

1/2 cup sugar or ( to taste) 

1/2 tsp Rose water 

Method


First blanch the almonds and put them in an electric blender and add peppercorns, seeds and half the water. Then blend it at high speed until it is finely grounded and strain into a jug through a fine muslin bag.

Finally mix milk with the almond liquid, add sugar to taste and rose water. Add crushed ice keep refrigerated until served.
