Green chicken masala



The green  chicken masala will just move everyone's taste buds as it is one of the best gravies served in the world.The aroma and the looks of it is enough to test your patience to stay away from this amazing dish. Ingredients


1 kg chicken(cut in 12 pieces)

salt (to taste)

1 cup chopped green coriander

1/2 cup fresh coconut

1 tsp ginger past

1 tsp garlic past

6 green chillies

4 tbsp oil 

1 inch cinnamon 

2 black cardamom

2 green cardamom 

1 bay leaf 

2 cloves

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

2 onion chopped

1/2 cup coconut milk

1/2 tsp garam masala powder

Method


First place the chopped coriander in a blender jar with the coconut, ginger garlic, green chillies and 3 tbsp of water and grind it to a paste.

Then add the paste to the chicken and salt mix well so that all the chicken pieces are covered with the green chutney (with the paste).
After that heat oil in a deep pan add whole garam masala and saute until it becomes fragrant. Add the onions and cook until they soften and become translucent.

Then add the marinated chicken and cook for about 2 or 3 minutes. Add two cups of water and cook for 8 minutes or till the chicken is done. Finally add the coconut milk and garam masala powder and stir well.

Garnish with coriander serve hot, Share and enjoy.
